Fury, who is 29 but looks older than his years, last fought on November 25, 2015, when he ended the Wladimir Klitschko era, outpointing the Ukrainian in Dusseldorf, Germany.

Fellow Briton Joshua has stepped into the spotlight to become the WBA, IBF and WBO belt holder, having last month beaten Joseph Parker on points in Cardiff.

While he was inactive, Fury kept the pot boiling by demeaning the heavyweights that came to the fore in his absence, notably countryman Anthony Joshua. He's looking for one punch all night.

But while a lot of attention is now focused on the June 9 fight at Manchester Arena, one journalist wanted to ask The Gypsy King about some of the comments he's made in the past - and it did NOT go down well.

Fury's first fight back will nearly certainly be a small-fry affair, as the boxer looks to warm up ahead of a run at all four heavyweight title belts and secure a couple of headline knockouts as he stakes his claim to be back at his best.

Warren tweeted: "Delighted to announce @tyson_fury has signed a promotional deal with us".

But they weren't able to show their hand with both Daniel Ricciardo and Max Verstappen retiring within the first five laps. It will be interesting to see how their reliability will be - as it will be for Renault and us.

"I'm the fittest I've ever been".

Meanwhile Anthony Joshua, whom Fury has been trying to goad into accepting a fight, has since won all the titles Fury previously won. "Most people can relate to what I've gone through". My timing and reflexes are better than I have ever been. "He will be my easiest fight", says Fury of AJ. "He can't land. I'd outbox him for a few rounds then I'd knock him out".

Fury, who still holds the unofficial "lineal" heavyweight title (the man who beat the man), announced his long-awaited comeback at a press conference on Wednesday.

Joshua is holding talks for a fight against Deontay Wilder, who is set to make a counteroffer for a blockbuster world title bout, and Fury firmly believes he can nullify both big-punching champions with his ring skills.

No opponents have mentioned at the time of publication for Fury for the June 9th date. "I have a career and goals I want to achieve so I am focusing on what I am doing".

Between the massive interest in this fight not just in the United States and UK, but worldwide, one suspects that the powers that be would be able to get him this amount of money - and then some. And I'm willingly to get it all back again.
