Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Friday urged the Indian government to help Bangladeshi entrepreneurs invest in India, particularly in joint ventures, for a win-win situation for both the neighbouring countries.

Bangladesh's achievements in social development indices can inspire India, he added.

The prime minister said this while inaugurating the newly constructed Bangladesh Bhaban jointly with Indian prime minister Narendra Modi at Bisva Bharati University here this afternoon.

"A golden chapter is being written in the relationship of India and Bangladesh".

Modi is the Chancellor of the university.

Further, Bangladesh Foreign Minister, Education Minister, Cultural Affairs Minister will be accompanying Prime Minister Hasina, as per The Daily Star. A special publication, "Bangladesh, Thakurbangsha O Rabindranath", will be released on the occasion.

After the convocation, which will take around an hour, Modi, Hasina and Banerjee would attend the inauguration of the Bangladesh Bhavan at Santiniketan.
