On the heels of multiple rumors, EA and DICE have announced Battlefield V's existence.but official details are still sparse. The Battlefield V live reveal date is May 23 and starts at 1pm PT. The live reveal will be available to watch on Youtube, Twitch, Mixer and Battlefield's website. EA today confirmed Battlefield V will be the next game in the series and assured gamers that "Battlefield will never be the same".
Battlefield V will be the follow-up to 2016's Battlefield 1 and while the naming convention between the two titles might be a bit odd, it's important to remember that the last mainline Battlefield title was indeed Battlefield 4 which released back in 2013. With Call of Duty Black Ops 4 releasing this October, it's nearly sure that we'll get to see Battlefield 5 getting released around that time.
EA has officially confirmed that the next Battlefield is indeed Battlefield V.
