In an attempt to bring it closer to its other products like refrigerators and washers, LG adopts the ThinQ branding for the G7. For those not familiar with it, Google Lens is the AI-powered technology that uses the camera and deep machine learning to detect and analyze an object, then suggesting actions. Now, as we mentioned in the introduction, the LG G6 performed badly when it came to the low-light shots, which is why LG made sure that its successor turns that con into pros.
The LG G7 ThinQ puts the focus on artificial intelligence in the camera and on improved sound quality as the whole phone now acts as a resonance chamber for the single bottom-firing speaker of the G7.
Fast forward to 2018, and we have the LG G7 ThinQ, the first rebranding of sorts to the LG series since the very first LG Optimus G. It's possible the phone will be an exclusive to AT&T in the USA, and will be sold by the carrier instead of the LG G7 ThinQ. Sure, most probably won't even care about this feature at all, but there's something to be said about LG knowing what audiophiles want. It's been the trend of the past few years, and we now expect our higher-end phones to have at least two camera lenses on the back (shout-out to the Huawei P20's three lenses). The Essential Phone was technically the first device with a notch.
Premier League fixtures: Google reveals each club's chance of winning this weekend
The position in which Bournemouth finished last season and the way they finished there would have left any Cherries fan overjoyed. Premier League's new boys might not be able to see it through this season. "Even the last games to me are still positive".
The back of the V35 ThinQ is home to dual camera setup that's located in the center in horizontal orientation, with the LED flash module to its right and the fingerprint scanner down below. LG G7 ThinQ also joins a long list of smartphones that are coming with a cut-out display, popularly known as notch. Besides, the G7 ThinQ also houses "Live Photo" feature, which is more of LG's version of Google's Motion Photos and Apple's Live Photos.
As far as specs go, the V35 ThinQ will reportedly boast a 6-inch QHD+ OLED display and a pair of 16-megapixel rear cameras. Which of these big, bright, bezel-free smartphones is the one you should be investing in? It's expected to provide an 80-percent screen-to-body ratio and a2,880 x 1,440 resolution. On the front, the G7 ThinQ has an 8MP wide-angle selfie snapper.
Android Headlines has published a purported render (below) of the phone and one feature (or lack of) in particular immediately stands out... Both the models have expandable storage via microSD card (up to 2TB). Connectivity support on the phone includes Wi-Fi 802.11ac, 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 5.0 BLE, USB Type-C 2.0 (3.1 compatible), NFC, FM Radio, GPS, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
