The original Iron Man costume has gone missing from a props warehouse in Los Angeles, in a case that has officials so far scratching their heads.
KCBS-TV first reported the investigation on Tuesday. Interestingly enough, the LAPD spokeswoman declined to report who owns the warehouse and no other items were reported missing.
House Democrats release 3400 'divisive' Russian political ads
Most of the ads are issue-based, pushing arguments for and against immigration, LGBT issues and gun rights, among other issues. Accounts like United Muslims of America urged viewers in NY in March 2016 to "stop Islamophobia and the fear of Muslims".
The Avengers need to assemble: someone has stolen Robert Downey Jr's Iron Man suit. There are now no leads in the investigation, and identity of the other missing items have not been disclosed yet. In fact, it has been revealed that Downey made a whopping $10 million for reprising Tony Stark in Jon Watts' Spider-Man: Homecoming previous year.
In the meantime, fans and memorabilia collectors are requested to contact the authorities if they come across someone selling the Iron Man suit on the black market.
He reprised the role recently in Avengers: Infinity War, which has netted over $1.2 billion in worldwide gross in less than two weeks. As first reported by the Los Angeles Times, the $325,000 suit was being kept in a prop house in Pacoima, which was probably the first mistake.
