One person was shot and killed after an incident inside a Nashville Mall. At least half a dozen ambulances converged on the scene.
Nashville firefighters responded to the scene and took the shooting victim to Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville, where he remained in critical condition.
Police said two or three people were involved in a physical dispute.

A local television started earlier reported four people had been shot, but police later said there was just one victim. Authorities had not yet verified the location of the shooting, the motive, or information on victim or suspect.
Opry Mills Mall spans 1,154,000 square feet with more than 200 stores.
The Gaylord Opryland Hotel, was placed on lockdown when the shooting occurred, but it has since been lifted.
One tweet read, "There's an active shooting situation at the mall I'm at".
O'Brien said he grabbed his media credentials and then snapped some photos and tweeted them. Tennessee Highway Patrol employees were performing motorcycle training in the Bass Pro Shops parking lot at the time, and troopers responded immediately to assist Nashville police.
Police are preparing to conduct a series of interviews with the suspect and witnesses, he said.
