ESPN is reporting that Mike Budenholzer has reached an agreement to become the next head coach of the Milwaukee Bucks.

For general manager Jon Horst, Budenholzer was long his top target and a finalized contract is expected to be completed soon, league sources said. Milwaukee started out the year with Jason Kidd at head coach, but he was sacked following a 23-22 start to his fourth season with the team. He went 213-197 in five years in Atlanta.

Milwaukee made the right choice by hiring Budenholzer.

The man told the employee that his name was "Pedro", he said. "We asked for his forgiveness and we are working to correct this". The coffee chain responded in a tweet saying that the incident was "not the welcoming experience we aim to provide".

ESPN's Zach Lowe reported Wednesday morning that Antetokounmpo and Khris Middleton ate breakfast with Budenholzer in Milwaukee this morning, and the deal was finished by mid-afternoon. If the Bucks want to keep Giannis Antetokounmpo around long-term, they need a guy like Budenholzer to come in and help him compete for a championship. That marks the end of the Bucks head coaching search that began shortly after their Game 7 loss to the Boston Celtics in the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs. Pursued by multiple teams, Budenholzer reportedly met with the Toronto Raptors on Monday but left without an offer. Jason Kidd and Joe Prunty are not. Under Budenholzer, the Hawks were known for being one of the most consistent teams in the league before the organization chose to bottom out and play for the lottery last season. They also wondered if he was putting pressure on management to draft and acquire certain players. He comes from the Gregg Popovich coaching tree, which is a good sign for the Bucks.

Now with the Bucks, Mike Budenholzer will oversee a team filled with young talent.
