He was trying to get into his house in his own gated community around 4 AM, but didn't have his key.
Atlanta entertainer T.I. has been arrested in Henry County. T.I.'s name quickly became a top-trending Twitter topic Wednesday. Although the rapper was released in time to make it to his son Major's birthday party, he nearly was not in attendance and believes that once the facts are out on the arrest, the charges will be dropped.
Wouldn't have time and tax dollars been saved if Tip had been let into his crib and allowed to sleep off the night's revelry, though. Holmes was arrested on outstanding charges out of Clayton County and for not having proof of auto insurance.
Laurel or Yanny? Bizarre debate takes over social media
What about laurel and yanny? If you go back to the original source, which is a vocabulary site, the clip is clearly Laurel . Input from celebrities has inflamed the frenzy: "It's Yanny ", horror writer Stephen King said in a deadpan tweet .
Police arrested both T.I. and his friend, who reportedly had a warrant out for his arrest already. He was missing his key, and the security guard followed protocol by not letting him in. He claims he returned to his gated community after a recording session and found the guard asleep on the job. He says the rapper identified himself and sought entry, but the guard refused. He spent 11 months in federal prison the following year for a probation violation after an arrest on drug charges.
The rapper didn't let the arrest affect his day and instead went to his son's school to celebrate his birthday. He also is one of 38 advisers for new Atlanta mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms' first 100 days in office.
Check out T.I.'s comments on the incident below. He has said he intends to focus on doing things that "affect our communities in a positive light". In addition, T.I. reportedly told The Blast that he did not assault anyone, but admitted the guard "may have been hurt by [his] words". The rapper has been released on bail.
