Alongside the Final Fantasy, Just Cause 4, and Tomb Raider announcements, Square Enix revealed a new game called The Quiet Man.

It was a bite-sized 30-minute look at Square Enix's plans moving forward, with plenty for fans to get hyped over.

We'll be seeing a lot of the games in the flesh over the next couple of days, so we'll be able to talk about them in more detail then. However, when it was all said and done, Square Enix had very little to offer.

Babylon's Fall is coming to PS4 and PC in 2019. The teaser was a unusual mixture of live action and in-game graphics, but the central gimmick seems to be that the main character is deaf. Platinum Games is best known for games such as Vanquish, NieR: Automata, and the upcoming Granblue Fantasy Project Re:Link.

The brand new studio is called The Initiative and is being led by Darrell Gallagher, who previously headed up Crystal Dynamics. Microsoft launched the Xbox One in November 2013 under a cloud of policy reversals and confused messaging.

Just Cause 4 is a showcase for Avalanche's latest upgrade to the studio's open world Apex engine.

Improved destruction and physics models are core to Just Cause 4 and an dynamic "extreme weather" system shows this off. Tornadoes are taking down bridges, structures, and forestry, but Rico can also use this to his advantage.
