What are you hoping to see at the Square Enix E3 Showcase?

Kingdom Hearts III has been all over E3 2018, and it's shown up once more for Sony's press conference. The finished game will launch for PC and PS4 in 2019.

Why the two new games are skipping the Xbox One is a mystery, especially as they're new IP, but since the excellent NieR: Automata (also a Platinum game) will be arriving on Microsoft's console on June 26 maybe it's more a question of when and not if.

In a rather short showcase at E3 Monday, Square Enix teased a handful of games - mostly ones that have already been announced - to get people excited about what's in store for the near future.

Square Enix showed off a chunk of gameplay from the upcoming Tomb Raider game, showing Lara Croft pulling off a whole bunch of deadly and creative stealth assassinations. The dialogue was pretty terrible though and it wasn't made any better by the British-accented voiceovers. The bad news? Square Enix is keeping quiet on details until August. Monster Hunter: World and Final Fantasy XIV will be pairing up in Summer 2018 as the Rathalos appears in FFXIV. Likewise, another look at the twee and free The Awesome Adventures Of Captain Spirit from Dontnod added more intrigue to the Life Is Strange companion piece, but again: we already knew about these games.
