Playground sounds exactly like you'd expect, it'll be a place where you and your friends will load into a private island where you can do whatever you want. The game itself is still working smoothly while the errors are being fixed, but you'll have to wait for these new features.
There's no guarantee it will be the news fans are hoping for, but it will at least keep fans informed on the situation.
Fortnite leaked skins for update 4.5 Tue, June 26, 2018 FORTNITE update 4.5 dataminers have discovered new skins to be released in the coming weeks. Epic said that it will continue to work on re-enabling Playground mode after matchmaking was supposedly fixed, but also wrote hours later that the studio would be producing an emergency patch for stability and performance issues to release at an unannounced time.
"Fortnite" Rocket Will Simultaneously Launch For All Gamers This Afternoon
Unfortunately, Playground was only live for a short time before Epic had to take it offline. The developer will provide another update on Monday, it said.
And if Epic Games do manage to get the Fortnite Playground Mode back online later today, it could prove to be a busy one.
It has already pushed a patch live for PC players, with more patches expected imminently. You could open up a custom Fortnite match where you have a specific amount of private rules to abide by (certain guns, or building particular structures) and then battle it out on the private map.
Playground Mode is the latest Limited Time Mode in Battle Royale, but unlike other LTMs, this mode isn't about taking out opponents in new and interesting ways like 50v50. Epic's free-to-play battle royale title is available on almost every console including the Nintendo Switch, making it more accessible to the public.
