However, one of the biggest additions to the macOS experience that was announced today isn't yet available for developers. A new AR development kit introduces a multiplayer mode for AR games, improved face tracking, and 3-D object detection. Unlike Windows, it seems users of Apple software will see the dark theme more widespread than Windows apps are. Apple's adding a "walkie talkie" feature that lets you, well, use your Apple Watch to chat with friends like a walkie talkie (provided you have a Wi-Fi or cellular connection, that is).
With tvOS 12, Apple is utilizing the set-top box's Siri Remote in order to locate what iPhone to pull the required iCloud Keychain data from. But the feature I'm most interested in are the new Screentime options found in the settings app. It isn't simply the system elements like the dock and window chrome that are going dark, Apple's native apps now plug into the dark theme as well as apps which are built with the latest MacOS APIs in mind.
