US President Donald Trump met with Good Morning Britain's Piers Morgan to discuss his special meeting with The Queen and had nothing but compliments for Her Majesty.

Revealing whether he was going to run for President in 2020, Trump confessed: "I fully intend to".

"The Queen and Brexit: ".she said, "It's a very" - and she's right - "it's a very complex problem". I said well it's too early to say, ' Trump was quoted as saying by the Daily Mail on Sunday.

"I'd like to see peace, most people said "day one we're going to be in war when Trump is president" but we're actually getting out of wars", Trump said.

"Let me tell you what I can talk about; she is an incredible woman, she is so sharp, she is so handsome, when I say handsome - inside and out. That is a lovely woman". "And again, I have to tell you, I really like her".

President Donald Trump met the longest living monarch Queen Elizabeth II on Friday and the president thinks she is "terrific" and "beautiful".

Earlier in the day, Mr Trump visited the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst where he and Theresa May watched a display of special forces from both the United Kingdom and the US.

He also mused on the various names for her realms, saying: "You have different names - you can say "England, ' you can say 'UK, ' You can say 'United Kingdom" so many different - you know you have, you have so many different names - Great Britain..."

"I don't know what you're going to do, but whatever you're going to do is OK with me - just make sure you can trade with us, that's all that matters", he added at the conference with Mrs May.

Speaking of his historic summit with North Korea dictator Kim Jong Un, he said: "I get along with him great, yeah".
