Three former United States secretaries of state will have cameos on the fall premiere of CBS's "Madam Secretary", revealed the Hollywood Reporter on Tuesday. George W. Bush Secretary of State Colin Powell appeared on JAG in 1997, and Hillary Clinton, Obama's Secretary of State, performed cameos in 2015 on Saturday Night Live and Comedy Central series Broad City in 2016. Elizabeth McCord (Tea Leoni) will turn to the former occupiers of her position in the premiere to give her advice on how to handle a "delicate situation".
For Albright, it marks an encore performance.
"We welcome Secretary Albright, Secretary Clinton and General Powell to the Madam Secretary family!" "It is always nice to consult with my successors".
Clinton also took time to tweet about her guest role.
José Mourinho refuses to be drawn on Manchester United’s title chances
Mourinho then listed out a couple of examples, probably in anger, as he stated that he wanted to play all the pre-season matches in Los Angeles.
It's not too surprising that Clinton and Albright are guest-starring in the series. Barbara Hall, McCreary, David Grae, Eric Stoltz and Morgan Freeman are executive producers for CBS Television Studios in association with Revelations Entertainment.
Madeleine Albright, the first female secretary of state, served under Democratic President Bill Clinton.
The episode will air on Sunday, Oct. 7, at 10/9c on CBS. Catch up on the last four seasons on CBS All Access.
