After a prolonged standoff, SWAT teams entered the house early on Saturday morning and found the suspect "unresponsive". Honeycutt then barricaded himself inside a residence for hours, according to police. Several residents in the area had been evacuated as a precaution.
Cops later found out it was Tyler's own mother who had phoned authorities saying her son was "acting erratically".
Honeycutt's agent, Aaron Mintz, confirmed Honeycutt's death to Khimki on Saturday morning.
Authorities have not yet released the name of the man.
