Redeploy your glider and stay mobile in the newest limited time mode, Soaring 50's.
The Save the World mode has a new set of weekly Horde Challenges and a new hero called Thora is joining the game. It allows players to deploy gliders when falling from large heights, while spawning additional Impulse Grenades, Bounce Pads and Launch Pads. The former's name is self-explanatory, and snipers will be the only weapons dropped in that mode. The weapon comes in epic and legendary variants, dealing around 150 damage to players, or 1050 to buildings. This mode is a twist on the traditional 50 vs 50 mode, featuring an extra emphasis on mobility.
The returning Sniper Shootout pits players against each other at long range, since the only weapons it'll deliver are sniper rifles. Epic has also taken the opportunity to reduce the Minigun headshot multiplier from 2.5 to 1.5.
The new Heavy Sniper Rifle has been added to this mode - and the Scoped Assault Rifles have been removed - while, as you might expect, the only weapons you'll be able to loot are the available Sniper Rifles. We've got all the information on the new challenges you need, and have also put together a guide to help you complete the harder ones.
