EA is the only publisher to offer this kind of subscription service for its games, and it makes sense for the company; many of EA's titles are released on a yearly basis (FIFA, Battlefield and Madden to name a few) with the vast majority of players migrating to the latest version of the game upon release.
Of course, to get such access it's not going to come cheap at all. Origin Access Premier will cost subscribers $14.99 a month and $99 for an annual subscription saving yourself $80. "This change won't affect any games players downloaded from the service prior to that date-those are theirs to keep forever", an EA rep told PC Gamer.
Apple to take the headphone jack out of iPad
The Smart Connector has been reportedly repositioned alongside the Lightning port at the bottom of the forthcoming iPad Pros. According to reports , this year's iPad Pro models will not come with the traditional 3.5 mm headphone jack.
Whether you're a football fan and can't wait to play Madden NFL 19 or start gearing up your character in Battlefield 5, having the new Origin Access Premier subscription is undoubtedly for you. That list will undoubtedly grow, but that's not a bad way to kick of a subscription service. In short, members will have access to every EA PC release, as well as being able to play new releases early in their entirety.
The service naturally also includes all of the major recent releases from EA including, The Sims 4, Star Wars Battlefront II, FIFA 18, A Way Out, Unravel Two, and Fe.
Subscribers are also provided access to full games such as Battlefield 5, Federation Internationale de Football Association 19, Madden NFL 19, and Anthem at release or a few days prior. Let us know in the comments!
