If so, this is on track with the speculation that the first "Captain Marvel" footage would come out in September, followed by some kind of "Avengers 4" teaser possibly in November.
The magazine adds that Danvers will start the movie in space, where "she's left her earthly life behind to join an elite Kree military team called Starforce, led by Jude Law's enigmatic commander". But how will Captain Marvel set up our eleventh-hour Avenger? She earlier spoke to Variety about playing the superhero and said, "I will say that I learned that I'm much stronger than I realise in playing her". However, this Nick Fury hasn't been through the wringer yet, as we see that both of his eyes are still in place (though he does have an injury over the eye he'll eventually lose). We've got something Marvel-ous in mind. The film centers on Carol Danvers, an Air Force pilot-turned-spacefaring superhero whose half-human, half-alien (specifically Kree) DNA gives her incredible powers.
So far, Monica Rambeau hasn't been confirmed to appear in Captain Marvel, but even if she doesn't, she's got a direct connection to the film. "He's younger than we've ever seen him (Jackson was digitally de-aged for the role), and perhaps most shocking of all, he's missing his signature eyepatch". And now, thanks to the Captain Marvel solo movie, the Skrulls are about to be incorporated into the MCU in a major way. It's there we'll also run into Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) who's not yet become a cyclops - though who knows by the end of the film - as a S.H.I.E.L.D. worker that knows paperwork better than any superhero. You don't need to be Shuri to figure this one out: a Captain Marvel reveal is coming.
Deadly typhoon is strongest to hit Japan since 1993
The storm also led to the cancellation of over 800 domestic and worldwide flights and closure of tourist places in Japan. Typhoon Jebi made landfall in the west of the country, bringing heavy rain and winds of up to 216km/h (135 mph).
"Captain Marvel, which hits theaters on March 8, 2018, is directed by Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck, and unlike many other MCU movies marking a character's cinematic debut, it will "[sidestep] the traditional origin-story template", according to Entertainment Weekly.
"Captain Marvel", which is set in the 1990s, finished filming in July.
Hopefully a trailer will arrive soon?
