Speaking on CBS Sunday, Clinton said Bill Clinton was correct when he refused to step down in the wake of the scandal when he was impeached for lying about it.

In an interview with CBS News, Hillary Clinton, who is a former US Secretary of State, also denied that the Monica Lewinsky scandal was an abuse of power.

Back in March, a few months into the #MeToo movement of women coming forward with allegations of sexual misconduct, mostly against powerful men, Lewinsky wrote that she had been moved to tears and deeply empathized with the accusers. In general, we as a society weren't talking seriously about whether an abuse of power regarding a sexual relationship with a young woman in the workplace was grounds for resignation.

"In retrospect, do you think Bill should've resigned in the wake of the Monica Lewinsky scandal?" correspondent Tony Dokoupil asked.

Lewinsky has rarely spoken about the affair, but past year, she wrote a powerful piece Vanity Fair, re-examining the events of the late 90s through the lens of the #MeToo movement.

Brady wanted quick Chiefs score to get ball back
After the way this game started for the Chiefs , if someone had said KC would lose by just three points, I'd have gladly taken it. However, they were doing their part early until Mahomes threw a pick that the Patriots returned inside the ten yard line.

"... who was an adult", Hillary said. "Where's the investigation of the current incumbent, against whom numerous allegations have been made, and which he dismisses, denies, and ridicules?'" Clinton said. "Hillary isn't responsible for what her husband did, but she should be able to recognize it as an abuse of power".

Clinton then called for President Donald Trump, who has been accused by numerous women on numerous occasions of sexual misconduct or assault, to be investigated.

And then, following that up with a rote statement that provided not a bit of clarity on her answer, she added, "I take responsibility for my life and my actions". "There was an investigation and it, as I believe, came out in the right place", news agency AFP quoted Clinton as saying.

"Every utterance that Hillary Clinton has made since her White House run confirms why she wasn't going to be elected President of the United States", Avella said.
