TS Oscar was said to be about 927 miles east south east of Bermuda at midnight.
The storm had top sustained winds of 65 miles per hour (100 kph). Oscar will be steered west until Monday when the storm system now impacting the U.S. East Coast blocks its progress. Oscar is moving to the west at 16 miles per hour. Oscar could become a hurricane as its track curves toward the North Atlantic early next week.
No coastal watches of warnings are in effect. "After that time, the low is forecast to turn westward and remain well to the north or northeast of the Lesser Antilles through early next week". This system quickly strengthened and became a tropical storm on November 9th and a category 1 hurricane on November 11th.
The 2018 Atlantic hurricane season officially started June 1, and it will end on November 30, the NHC said.
