Khan, who is on an official trip to China to secure an economic package for his cash-strapped country, was addressing a ceremony on Sunday at the Central Party School which was shown live by the Pakistan Television Corporation (PTV). This visit is Prime Minister Imran Khan's first official visit to China after he assumed office, which fully testifies to the importance Pakistan attaches to developing its ties with China.
During Khan's visit to Saudi Arabia last month, the Gulf Kingdom agreed to provide Pakistan $3 billion in balance of payment support and additionally give oil worth $3 billion on deferred payment.
"Both the countries have agreed to finalise a Free Trade Agreement before June 2019, said Dawood, adding that the next round of talks would be held in Beijing".
China on Thursday said Prime Minister Imran Khan's visit to Beijing remained successful.
Khan, who has previously voiced opposition at global bailouts, went to China after receiving $6 billion in support from Saudi Arabia.
According to the Ministry's spokesperson Hua Chunying, a number of achievements were made during the visit. He also said that China had assured "every kind of assistance" to Pakistan.

Chinese leaders such as President Xi Jinping and Premier Li Keqiang had friendly exchanges with him and established good relations.
