Hootie and The Blowfish announced their first tour in over a decade on Monday. They will be joined by the Barenaked Ladies.
Hootie & the Blowfish, which also includes Mark Bryan, Dean Felber and Jim "Soni" Sonefeld, met at the University of SC in the late '80s, and began playing in local bars.
The band - known for their string of hits from 1994's Cracked Rear View - will embark on a 44 city romp to coincide with the release of a new studio album in 2019. In addition, tickets may be purchased at the State Fairgrounds Ticket Office during a limited-time opening from 10 a.m.to 1 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 7.

They'll be playing with special guest the Barenaked Ladies, which also had massive hits during the 90s.
Two of the most well-known bands from the 1990s will play a show together in MA this summer as part of a nationwide tour. Bryan adds, "There's nothing like playing music live".
