Reggae star Etana has ended the drought of female nominees, bagging a nomination for the Best Reggae album with her "Reggae Forever" set. R&B legend Toni Braxton walked away with three nods, including Best R&B Performance, Best R&B, Song and Best R&B Album for Sex and Cigarettes. Hip-hop artists also thrived.
